Demonstrating Christ's love, grace, and hope

The mission of the Center of Hope is to demonstrate Christ's love, grace, and hope by providing housing, hope for healing, and opportunities for growth to homeless women of Chester and surrounding counties, as availability allows.

We are a non-profit, faith-based organization established in 2018 as part of Christ Central Ministries. The Center of Hope operates as a 9-month residential program which addresses the body, soul, and spirit needs of residents.

The Thrift Store and the Center of Hope are one mission

The Chester Mission Station of Christ Central Ministries includes both our Thrift Store and the Center of Hope. The Thrift Store provides the operational funds that keep the housing program running — every item donated and every purchase made directly supports a resident's journey.

This model allows the Center of Hope to focus entirely on people, while the Thrift Store handles day-to-day expenses like utilities, medical co-pays, and staffing.
